3-4 of my classmates were yousufzai pathan and we used to call them nakli pathan and they never said they were not.They were like any other urdu speaking people with not a single different thing on the basis of which we can say that they are real pathans.

Yusufzai have probably migrated more than other tribes and therefore they don’t have command over Pashto like other Pathan tribes. The other reasons may be that they adapted modern education and are more progressive than other tribes. That is why there is rivalry and exclusion of them from Pathan community. Otherwise, no historian could term them non-Pathan
