When its cold in Sindh, why is it implied that “Quetta ki lehar” aa gayi hay?

right Qandahar is north of Quetta and northerly winds are colder...amriikan bhii ThanD ke liye Canada ko blame karte haiN kiuN k ham unke sar par [oops ya'ni North] meN haiN...:D

Lol whenever I feel cold or weather is Cold I always say 'kahi snow pari hai uski lehar aae hai' :p

Same here jab North India me sardi barhti hain to central india ki sardion me bhi Iazafa hota hai

Sindh main sari thandi / garam hawaen aur raids north se hui hain.. iss liye sab kuch north ke sir per. Quetta’s weather do affect weather of all areas in Sindh.. There is a phrase ‘uttar payo laghe - air from north is being blown’ to say its cold in Sindh. There is a famous song ‘Aseen Manhoo LaaR ja, Darya je pachhaR ja, Uttar Ro tho laghe’.

This was the coldest year of Karachi, and it's snowing a lot in murree waghaira. So everyone was like murree Ki snow ka asar hai.

I think Murree's cold weather impact is limited to areas of Punjab and became weak when it reaches southern Punjab. Quetta is having severe weather nowadays, which has impacted Sindh from Kashmor to Karachi

Karachi to murree would be around 1500 Kms, what would be the distance from Quetta? Isn't it more or the less same?
