The purpose of Nazool-e-Quran was not just reading or listeing, it was and is a practical book, infact a manual by for humal life, so one have to understand what (s)he is reading. I think in this context dr, Zakir Naik was right in his approach.
I personnally like to listen audio/video quran, as then i can take inputs from my eyes and ears, so that makes it more clear to me. as far as babies is concerned i don't know much about that.
