Re: Questions to overseas Pakistanies
I had faced problems once at work because someone had a problem with me being Muslim. This Jewish girl who grew up in Israel was blatantly rude towards me since the first day of my work at this bank. On a regular basis, she kept acting like a major b**** to me, throwing out derogatory comments such as Arabs are so dirty, I should know, I lived in Israel blah blah blah and my a** of a boss didn't wanna do anything about it. So I called our VP who came down to talk to her and put her on probation saying that if this didn't change, she would get fired. Well, it just made it worse and finally I just felt like it was better for me to leave. I didn't need this job that badly that I would deal with such nonsense. It was becoming way too stressful for me to come back home every night feeling upset about the things she was doing and saying.
Wow amazing real life story. But why did you not talk to that VP again , he was dealing with it in the right manner. Oh but you did not need that job so badly that you would fight for it. May be if I was in your situation I would behave in the same manner you did.
