Questions to a scholar

There was a young man who went abroad for a long time to study.
When he returned, he asked his parents to find him a good scholar who could answer three important questions of him.
They finally found him one.

Young man: Who are you? CAn you answer my questions?
Scholar : I’m one of God’s servants and if God wishes I can answer you questions.
Young man: Are you sure? I’ve met many professors and experts who couldn’t.
Scholar: I will try. With God’s help.
Young man: Oké, I have three questions:

  1. Does God excist? If so, show me what he looks like.
  2. What is fate? (taqdier)
  3. If Satan is made out of fire, why will he be then eventually be thrown back in hell, where everything is also of fire? That surely can’t hurt him since he already is made out of fire. How could God have not overseen that fact?

SUddenly the scholar hits the young man in his face. THe young man, obviously in pain, asks: Why are you mad at me?
Scholar: I’m not mad, the smash was the answer of all three of you questions.

Young man: I don’t understand.
Scholar: How did you feel after the smash?
Young man: It hurt of course.
Scholar: And doyou believe that pain excists?
Young man: Of course.
Scolar: Then show me what it looks like.
Young man: I can’t.
Scholar: That is my answer to your first question. We all feel God excists, but we don’t know what He looks like.

Scholar: Have you dreamt yesterday I would hit you?
Young man: No.
Scholar: Did you ever think that today you would be hit by me?
Young man: No.
Scholar: That is called faith.

Scholar: Of what material is my hand, with which I hit you, made?
Young man: Skin.
Scholar: How did you feel after the smash?
Young man: It hurt me.
Scholar: Even if Satan and hell are both made of fire, but if God wishes, hell will still be a very painfull stay for Satan.

Haha Sadya. This example explains why Mullahs use violence against people who question.

:rotfl:

nice explanatory skills implied

Unorthodox yet effective...

Bet that's answer he'll never forget.

I had no idea it was that funny, should I have placed this in jokes section then? Or maybe I’m too serious. :konfused:

not serious.. just naive.. the story has been told in many ways.. it's like an overused joke.. everyone substitutes the parties involved to suit their own purpose.
