1- How do you feel when American flag is descrated in remote dark lands by remote indigenous (sometimes dark, sometimes not) people?

2- Do you feel the need to blow yourself up with a bomb? I mean, it’s just a flag, you know.

3- Do you think American flag is holier than Quran? And who made you the judge of that? Is it some kind of self-assigned assessment? (You know what they say once you remove ‘ment’ from assessment).

I have lots of pride for this country, but some shame has crept it’s way up to me as well, just recently. But still, I love this country.

1. It pisses me off to see people diss our flag like that. I understand our government isn’t the humblest, but you still shouldn’t spread hate around for the Americans themselves. If some people were educated enough to know, they’d realize that the people of a country usually differ from it’s very own government.

2. No, I wouldn’t blow myself up over anything. It’s haraam.

3. I believe the Quran is holier, and Allah (swt) has made each individual the judge of that, giving us the right of free will, to believe whatever we think to be the Islamic way. I am an American, but before that, I am a Muslim.
