I hate SpongeBob as well. I also dislike the Backyardigans because their songs are so depressing. I also don't like the entire Disney channel. That leaves us with a few shows on PBS Sprout. That's it.

To me even Mickey Mouse cartoon is wahiat , they show kissing khulam khula and nanhay , nanhay brains of our kids get corrupted. The other day I saw a 2 year old kid at a desi party came out of no where and planted a kiss on same age girl. :mad2:

Oh yeah, spongebob is very badtameez :stuck_out_tongue: I love the show… lol, but its banned in my house.
My daughter is only allowed to watch the shows on Sprout and some on Nickjr. Her favorite is Max and Ruby, mine too :hehe:

I think so , but i know a lot of parents who let their children (who are the same age as my girls) watch it. Good for them....but i personally don't like that show.

RE: WoWP, my girls don't watch it...i do...when they're asleep. :o :o in my defence...errrr...i watch it to see if there is any unsuitable material in there...yeah...that's my defence =/

My favorite is Little Bill and Fireman Sam. Both shows are very fun to watch. I guess one reason is because they dont add stupid forced songs in those two shows.

i'm not a parent yet...but inshAllah hope to be one day. My youngest brother is 11 ... our 16 year age difference causes very motherly feelings towards him.

I honestly think most kids shows today are HORRIBLE. NOTHING on cartoon network is good! The humor they show is gross humor... like snot coming out of a some ugly characters nose or something. Its seriously ewe.

I want to know what happened to cartoons like Smurfs, carebears, muppet babies...... etc. Those were the shows I watched when I was little... and they were pretty appropriate.

and yes - I think disney is not good either. Its corrupting my little brother and I do not like it.

@ Mirch: my fiance's nephew did the same thing to a little girl...he was like 2 years old as well. So WRONG .. obviously they get these ideas from somewhere!
