What do you think is the trick behind obtaining a perfectly soft, layered and crispy pratha?
Choose one out of these options please:
1 - A really hot pan/tawa before putting the paratha on ..
2- Using Ghee / butter in excess and rolling it nicely so that if gets layers and softens up
3- cooking it on low heat
4- making a really soft dough for paratha
5 - Adding some oil while goonding the paratha aata ..

u need HARD hands to makes SOFT paraaThas :) If you got SOFT hands, you can't make SOFT paraaThas...PERIOD! :D

1,3 and 5.
i have never added oil or salt to the aata.

yeh to haath ko feel kar ke hubby hii u ke bataa sakeNge…vaise, hubby ke liye to biwi kaa haath malaaii jaisaa hotaa hai even if her hands are like cow hide

I think the trick lies in the hot tawa ... Tested several times and that the day I cook it on a hot Tawa it comes out super crispy and beautiful :@:

if you use too hot tawa, outside is cooked beyond recognition while inside the aaTaa is still kinda raw that gives you the feel of a soft paraaThaa…yeh hunar nahiiN, be-hunarii hai
