bowing in front of ghair allah is a big shirk. Sahaba once asked Prophet that we’ve seen people bowing in front of kings so why dont we do that to you and prophet got really angry and said no. You think Sahaba was proposing it cause they thought that Prophet was GOD (nauzobillah) or just because they wanted to show their respect. It was the respect, even then prophet did not like that.
