Question

Say you live in the UK and are thinking about emigrating to Pakistan…you don’t know how long you will live there. Would it make more sense to get married in the UK and to take the wife to Pakistan or to get married in Pakistan and to bring her to the UK whenever you come back?

I think girls here would be reluctant to move there but girls there would be able to live there and come here..hence will be more flexible generally.

Re: Question

...the latter.

Re: Question

lol arshad! i like how us desi can go either this or that … girl from here or there ! How flexible!

Lucky desi’s! :cb:

Either way - I think if the girl in UK is in love with you - then - she would walk the **heavens and the fires of hell - WITH YOU! **

Girls from Pakistan - well - they will too regardless of “love”.

So see what suits you better

Re: Question

Depends on the girl.

Re: Question

You might find girls from the UK a bit reluctant to go to Pakistan only because they might be used a different lifestyle, expectations, freedoms, surroundings, etc. Its not impossible but might be a challenge.

But then again, it seems like you wont be gone forever. Just for a while.

Re: Question

Desi girls are always wiling to compromise. UK girls, going to drive you insane!

Re: Question

I don't think it should be a problem. A girl from here may be happy to go and live in Pak with you. It'll be a good idea to talk about it before you get married though :)

Re: Question

I don't know ! both scenarios have pros and cons :) depends on the middle ground you going to find in either of them !

The one close to your liking , go for it :)

Re: Question

hmmm arshad, i strongly believe that u should fall in love first and then get married. otherwise i do get to here about how foreign born-bred get marry a girl/guy back home and nothing works out.

they marry them because their parents force them to marry them.

I like the sound of someone holding my hand in the fires of hell

But girls here are reluctant to move abroad and be away from their family even if for a 1 or 2, and since I don’t have any family in Pakistan it makes it tricky living alone.

arshad5 … get the hint buddy
