Hitchki what do you mean by miss the attention? do you mean someone saying nice things to me all the time or spending some nice time with a nice person? its not that it is just that i am trying hard to forget the 5 nice years i spent with him... albeit i did develop a big huge crush on him and now i am engaged and he is interested in my best friend and she constantly reminds me of him which makes me boiling mad...

Many engaged people have feelings for their exes, crushes, guy friends, etc. I wonder why. May be because your fiance is not yet a big part of your life - and that void is fulfilled by other guys.
Anyway, you should become closer to Mr. Fiance. Distance yourself from manly distractions.

Did your crush ever express interest in you? And I don't mean by flirting, teasing, giving gifts etc. I mean....did he ever get to hinting about marrying you....the way he is now doing with your friend.....??? Because if a guy SINCERELY believes that a particular girl is THE ONE for him....he's not gonna care how shy the girl is.....he'll find a way to show that he wants to marry her. Did it ever go that far with you?
At first I thought that perhaps your crush is playing some game and trying to make you jealous. But then I thought that even if he was playing a game.....I doubt he'd take it as far as doing istikhara for marriage. Did your friend know that you had a crush on him?
If he's not afraid to bring up "marriage" with your friend. Then he should have been able to bring up "marriage" with YOU. Maybe he really is interested in your friend. As several of the guppies suggested, take a break and sort out your feelings. Maybe what you are feeling is not love. Maybe you're just missing the attention he used to give you. Take a break from your friends, focus on prayer, and bonding with your fiance. InshaAllah this will help.

miss your engaged so you know stop obsessing over your friends guy... the reason your jealous is cause you like him & things have changed now since he doesn't follow you around anymore...your not the center of attention, don't worry you'll get over it sooner or later
