In 1965, we could've had it all but ended up turning back because of US pressure. This was also the year that the Pakistani economy stopped its upward trajectory towards joining the developed world.

^^ I Partially agree, Pakistan manage to gave a heart-attack to Shastri ( then PM of India) with the feeling of Success ( called Shadi-Marg in Urdu).
The downward trend started when Ayob with his allies and evil ways managed to keep Mohtrma Fatima Jinnah out of power...thats where he lost it all, the power went to good for nothing Army General

Which triggered the first war between Pakistan and India..from April to September.
