i have a hotmail account
and I have photo’s on my desk top
how do i get these pics into the hotmail account
please note
I am a lady daisy
and therefore need easy and clear instuctions

- attach file:
- browse for the file on your desktp
- select file
- click OK at the top (just below the menu)

Lazy, ^ before you proceed with Gizzy's option which is right BTW, let me ask you a question. The picture on your desktop meaning your wall paper or is there a jpg or bmp file on your desk? If its a desktop file then follow what Gizzy mentioned. I am assuming you are using XP. When you click on attachment and then browse to the following location
C:\Documents and Settings<user name>\Desktop
…there you will see the files you want to attach
However if it’s not the case and the picture is a wallpaper, from internet explorer, then you need to select a different path, which is
C:\Documents and Settings<user name>\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

Thankyou Todd And Gizzy and sh3ry... I did what Gizzy said...(it wasnt the actual desktop pic) and IT WORKED!!!
but then found out that I it had picked up the whole thing and deposited in the hotmail account...I shouldve made a copy.

for resample/resizing pics, there is a sticky thread by me in all Image gallery forums..
