hi all,
I just wanted to know if one is offered a job in Pk, how much should they be expecting… is 50k a good start or not? ofcourse it also depends on individual cirmustances and one’s qualification and experience but any idea? Plus how much would it take (monetarily) to take u back home?

It also depend in which sector you are getting job. As Banks are offering huge sums to its staff and some time recruit people at the manager level for 100K. It also depends which city you are going ?????

where u r getting job ... whats ur qualification ... and how much experience u have ..
Banks offer good salaries and also multinational or some well profitable companies..
in a company where i am doing job ... is not a ideal place to do a job ... they dont offer good salaries and even not provide us our salary on times :( ... but i am doing job coz i love accouting and it have great future ... and i am doing just to gain experience ... and also doing my studies ...

Just like I would do it for any job abroad, I would break down my expenses. How much I need for rent, food, bills, personal money etc etc. I will then add a bit more to tat sum and expect to be paid atleast that much. Rest, everyone is going to have their own views on what a good salary is. For some ppl 50K is good and for some even 100K may not be enough. It would depend quite a bit on what kind of lifestyle YOU want for yourself and the field you are in.
