Question… Sometimes the hair oil seems to act stubborn stays in the hair…any solutions to that? I mean sometimes I end up shampooing twice…There’s no use of oiling if you use twice the regular amount of shampoo u use…
and
what do u suggest for frizzy hair? Like I have wavy hair..and they would look good if they would be properly nourished etc etc…I was really fanatic about getting them straight, but the irons just don’t work on me or maybe I dunno how to properly use them..I’ve bought this SunSilk Straightening Shampoo & Conditioner..has anyone tried it before? Any suggestions…I want GOOD and healthy hair… I really want to leave them open, but I can’t since they look dead…and they fall a lot…
Using the same shampoo for a long time causes buildup which ultimately leads to dandruff and flakes. Use apple cider vinegar with water. Use 1-2 tablespoons in a cup of warm water (do it once a week!!)
Yes, before jokes and stabs come in my general direction, i am a metrosexual
I use lemon in water to rinse my hair. Do it every other time you shampoo your hair, since its acidic and you don't want to do it too often.
As for frizzy hair...I dunno. But lately my hair has been dry and just really poofy - I am gonna get that fructis shampoo - sleek and str8 or something like that. I dunno how well that will work.
When you use a hair dryer, try to blow dry your hair.
PCG- doesn't blow drying puff up hair further? :S... I bought this Cosmopolitan Multistyler from Argos...does it work? Did anyone else buy it? I have my doubts on the performance..:(....i will try it sometime myself...
Is sunsilk good? The straight sleeky thingee doesnt seem to work..my hair frizzes up like crazy...:(
Hot-oil treatments are effective too...but how often shud u get one done?
Sparkly Eyes: Try using a good moisturizing conditioner (Garnier Fructis orange is good). Brush your hair right after washing them. Don't leave them to dry out before brushing. Do not blow dry.
Sparkly Eyes - I use Sunsilk Black shampoo with pantene smooth/sleek conditioner. My sister swears by the vinegar rinse that dope mentioned. Sometimes instead of conditioner I rinse out my hair out with tea water.
Sparkly...Silvikrin is best for normal to greasy hair.....I have straight silky hair myself and I normally use Sunsilk but recently I tried silvikrin a couple of times and each time i have used it after applying oil to my hair and i've noticed that it gives this additional softness to my hair.....which offcourse gives me a pleasing effect!!;)
