Exactly, just saying "I am Muslim" does not give me a ticket to Jannah....Allah says in the Quran that Bani Israel was a favoured & blessed nation...yet they turned away from Him and disobeyed and as a result were punished.....so just because we are Ummat Muhammad doesnt mean we can just sit back and relax...if we have true imaan than we will follow it up with actions, by obeying the commands of Allah, doing what He commanded us to do and staying away from what He commanded us to stay away from

Niksik, that made a lot of sense.
People seem to have this idea that just being muslim (being born as a muslim) is their ticket to heaven and to call themselves better than anyone else.. and here is where i got confused.
Yes, the Quran says that Islam as a religion is the best.. and I truely believe that... but what makes a mockery of this is what people do with it.
I guess we should just try to do the best we can as muslims..
