Re: Question to Pakistani Muslim living in the Persian Gulf
Madhanee your explanation is incorect on technical grounds. U said 'arabs" and not saudis in your initial post. KSA operates in its own way, and countries like Bahrain or UAE operatein their own way. The locals there are arabs also, but not saudis.
Re: Question to Pakistani Muslim living in the Persian Gulf
so we are even then.
But where are all the Mullahs, I am interested to hear their views about this.
Re: Question to Pakistani Muslim living in the Persian Gulf
maddy read again, many indian sub-continent imams being present in the gulf countries means that people pray behind them....
and those people include arabs/non-arabs....
if u dont wish to accept ideas other than what has already been fed into ur head by stupid american media than why do u bother asking questions????
Re: Question to Pakistani Muslim living in the Persian Gulf
Mughal, are you telling me that it is valid for all countries of the Persian Gulf? Are you accusing me of lying? Do you think that the Taif College (or Imams being paid employees in Saudi Arabia) is made up? I don’t know where you live in the Gulf, but you certainly don’t know much about Saudi Arabia. Can you prove that a Pakistani can lead prayers in a Saudi Wahabi mosque (not in a living room, not in sand, not on a beach, but in a Saudi mosque)? Do you know of any such instance? Or you are just talking thru your butthole as you usually do? If you can prove that Saudis will pray behind a Pakistani Imam (inside a Saudi mosque), I will stop posting on Gupshup. Deal! All you have to do is to prove that Taif College requirement is untrue.
Re: Question to Pakistani Muslim living in the Persian Gulf
Saudia Arabia has a stalker named madhanee, those saudis have all the luck in the world.
Re: Question to Pakistani Muslim living in the Persian Gulf
madhanee always has vendetta against non qadyianis! this is sign of inferior comlexity, lack of knowledge and full of jihalat. in punjabi there is asaying khoo ka duddoo only knows about that khoo!
Re: Question to Pakistani Muslim living in the Persian Gulf
Madhanee, some of your views are so full of **** that one doesn't even know where to start.
When I went for hajj, I heard lectures and question answer sessions from an Indian scholar, shaykh waseeullah abbas, in urdu, within the haram. I prayed behind a pakistani, and an african american imam, in makkah. (and yes in a SAUDI MOSQUE)
To contrast that, let me tell you that I went with a Pakistani group (which turned out to be highly barelvi.. ) who refused to pray even their 5 regular prayers behind the imaam of the ka'aba because they felt he was not_a_muslim.
Truth of the matter is, idiots such as yourself who get strung up on nationality have the narrowest vision of all. The Prophet saws has told us of the evils of the tribalistic/nationalistic thought. If Arabs practice that sort of thinking, they're wrong, and if Pakistanis do it, they're wrong. There are no blanket rulings covering all, and I've seen enough of both to say that such thinking is neither limited to Arabs nor pakistanis.
Re: Question to Pakistani Muslim living in the Persian Gulf
in dubai there are many indian and pakistani imams....no one opposes anything and all muslims arabs, pakistanis, indians, bangladeshis, indonesians etc etc pray behind them side by side....
ek hi saff main khare hogaye mehmood-o-ayaaz
naa koi banda raha naa koi bandaa-nawaaz
Re: Question to Pakistani Muslim living in the Persian Gulf
i myself have led prayers in saudi arabia, in a mosque, with saudis and other arabs praying behind me....
have u ever entered a mosque in saudi arabia????
Re: Question to Pakistani Muslim living in the Persian Gulf
i've lead a few arabs in offering prayers in brooklyn on a couple of rare occasions and i am an irish-paki of all things. they were a little surprised at first but by no means were they doubtful/mean or anything degrading in any way.
after all, its prayers that we are talking about, why is there a need to bring the "EGO" in?
your not praying to an arab or a paki or an indian or a bangladeshi....ur prayin to god...as simple as that. why make it so complex n confusing??

Madhanee,
One Imam which is 100% pakistani ( belongs to Bannu or Dir area educated in some Madrassa there ) is Imam for our (SAUDI) mosque here in Riyadh , ( to be specific Malaz area, sitten road!!! ) except for Juma when a Saudi Imam lead the prayer.
On the lighter note, the rumor about our Pakistani Imam is that Saudi Imam is actually paid by govt a handsome salary out of which he pays a partial amount to Pakistani Moulvi Saab !!
Please keep on posting as this may be a one off incidence!!!!
