Recently i prayed for something and then asked for mannat…i said that if my dua gets fulfilled i will pray 100 shukarana nafl…now i just want to know that does 100 nafl mean 100 namaz which have 2 rakas each or does it mean 100 rakahs?
and please answer fast..

100 nafal would be 50 salats of 2 rakat each.
Whether it gets fulfilled or not....do it anyway after the prescribed time. Not good to put conditions on duas or even manats.

mannat maangnaa mere Khayaal se durust nahiiN...jaise k Fayax Bhai ne farmaayaa say ur nawaafil even if ur wishes are not fulfilled coz there is a GOOD reason for non-fulfillment and only Allah knows whats best for us. wish u all the best aameen

Its okay if you did them in 4's. You can still count them. But in most cases it is said that nafl should be done in 2's. I am not sure about that.

nawaafil are always of 2 rak'at each. min 2 max unlimited

u can do nawaafil at anytime...at teh time of farz prayer or in between...doesn't matter...but remember one thing some ppl forget...farz namaaz is always first so if u miss a farz then u have to say its qaza first.**

well, with due respect, i do NOT think so...nawafil are extra prayers so there can't be so hard and rigid rules...anyways, lets see what other gappis have to say :)**

May Allah forgive me but i will read only in parts...100 in one go is impossible and had i known before i would have promised to read less rakahs like 20/40..

There is no such thing in islam that forces such a thing on muslims.
Pray them with patience and properly teelo. little by little.
May Allah forgive me but i will read only in parts...100 in one go is impossible and had i known before i would have promised to read less rakahs like 20/40..
yeh to apko Manat se pehley sochna chahiye thaa...plus...Manat us cheez ki mangni chahiye jo banda Khushi se aur DIl se kar sake...phir chahe 4 Nafal hi kyu na ho shukrane ke :)..cos ALLAH ka shukar ada Dil se kiya jaye to wo ziyada behter hai na ke kisi cheez ko bhoj samjh ke :)

First of all i am not a brother i am a sister hehe...
and now, all my prayers are dil say...thats why i made this mannat...when i said 100 shukarana nafls i didn't say at one go but slowly and at my own pace...plus i am sure Allah knows best and knows our abilities so if i could have i would have but i can't so i wont force myself and pray while feeling agitated because i know no one forced me to make this mannat nor is anyone forcing me to pray...plus i am already done reading 52 rakah's so i am happy...baki kal Inshallah..

I have already read 52 rakah's...rest tomorrow Inshallah...but yes i was also wondering how can there be such harsh rules...its impossible for one to pray so many rakah's at one go...10/20 after every prayer i can do but not 100...so i decided that Allah knows my intentions so I'll not pray just for the sake of my promise I'll pray properly and for that even if its 2 rakah's at a time..
