If I call you an a-hole and you run crying to your mommy or complain about it in the Feedback Forum, then I say it's lack of self-esteem.
If I call you an a-hole and become physically violent with me, I'd say it's insecurity.
If I call you an a-hole and you respond, "yeah but I am a clean a-hole", I say it's humility.
If I call you an a-hole and you respond, "it's Mr. A-hole to you, a-hole", then I'd say you have very high self-esteem. Jazaak allah khairun.

Not that I have anything against gays. I asked that because he shows a clear interest in a-holes. It’s accepted these days. Be magnanimous.

Low Self-esteem is being sad and insecure all the time despite having everything. Lack of Self-respect is to completly devote yourself to someone, cause, job etc in such a way that compromises your health physically or mentally. Humility is having everything or being comfortable with everything you have (looks and money wise) and not bragging. Its like you are intelligent and strong but, you use that power/ ability not to put anyone down. In a posotive way, uknowmsaying!
That would be the first line. Others, let me think about it little bit more. :o

Its about how you yourself have been brought up. We judge others characters from our own baseline, so if we are afflicted by somthing of some sort then we assume that it is pandemic.
