For some reason for many years I had been doing my sajda wrong. The mistake I was making was that before going into second sajda I wont say Allah hu Akbar. Instead, I would just go into the sajda and say subhana rabbi yal aala odd times. And then when I would rise up , I would say Allah hu akbar.
It was only that whenever I would pray at the masjid I would realize that I was missing on one Allah hu akbar. I checked up on a few sites, ( I don’t know which ones are the best to refer to for such basic information on Islam) and it seems that not all of them clearly state that you should say Allah hu akbar when going down into your second sajda (like you would for the first one..)
I wanted to know if this is right? Ive spent all these years doing an incorrect sajda.. Allah save me.
Yes you have to say Allahu Akbar when going into Sajda also. But if you have missed it because of not knowing, dont beat youself over the head for it. InshaAllah you will be forgiven. I am sure that any knowledgeable Mufti will tell you that you still did better than a lot of the people who havent prayed in years.

Namaz ke 14 faraiz hai bahar ke 7 farz aur andar ke 7farz

1) badan(body) ka pak hona .....clean(pak) body
2) kapda(cloth) pak hona ........clean clothing
3) zameen(place) ka pak hona ........clean place
4) waqt(time) ko pahachanana ..........Right Time
5) satar(naf se lekar pidhaliyotak) ka chhupana .......correct covering(dress)
6) kibla rukh hona ............correct Qibla direction
7) niyyat ka karna ..........correct niyah (intention)

1) kiyam(namaz ke liye khada hona) ..........standing if you are able
2)taqbeer-e-tahreema(allahuakbar kahekar hath bandhna) First Allah ho Akbar! and raising of ones hands!
3) kiraat(quraan ka padhana ........recitation of surah Fatihah & second Surah before ruku
4) rukuh ka karna ............making ruku
5) eik rakaat me do sazde karna ..........making two sajda's in each rakah
6) tashahad(attahiyat) me baithana .........sitting in attahiyat for shahadat
7) salam ka pherna agar imam ke pichhe ho to imam ke sath phere....saying salaam after the Imam!
