Question of perspectives

A Texan farmer goes to England and drives into the countryside to have a look at English farms. He comes across a farmer leaning on a wooden post chewing some straw.
“Howdy buddy? What’s the size of your farm?” asks the Texan.
“From this post along the dirt track to the Church boundary, then round to that other post you see and along the railway line to here” replies the Brit.
“Mine is so big I have to get in my car and drive for 6 hours to get to the other end” comes the Texan comment.
“Yes, I had a car like that once” says the English farmer.
