I woke up after sunrise this morning. I did not make an intention to fast last night before I went to bed. Will my fast be valid then?

She said she didn't make intention to fast last night.
P.S she didn't know that she's gonna wake up before the sun rise.
I think Aisha, you should go on with your Fast and leave everything up to Allah(SWT). :)
Thank you :)
In the name of ALLAH, the most Benificial, the most Merciful…
If you were having the intention (niyyat - without even saying by words) to fast during the month of Ramadan, and for any reason you could’nt wake up for SEHRI, you can continue with your FAST (roza) and ALLAH (swt) will Insha’Allah accept it. (It is said in the QURA’AN that Allah wants to make it easier for us…)

AsSalaamu 'alaykum sister Aisha,
As has been pointed out already, the intention is not a verbal one, but an intention of the heart.
However, it is obligatory to have an intention for the obligatory fast before the appearance of the true dawn (subh saadiq):
"He who does not intend during the night to fast, then there is no fast for him." [an-Nasaaee]
... and Allaah knows best.

Do you know that you have to fast the whole month of ramdhan ? Did you know when the first started?
If the answer is yes to both of the Qs....that means you already have the niyat for this whole month of ramadhan
I'd go with google..
