Question for the guppies in the UK

Is there any voice or movement against guys like Anjem Choudary from the Muslim community?

Why is this guy not considered a disgrace to Muslim community and portrayed as a ‘Muslim Leader’ in Western media?

Re: Question for the guppies in the UK

He is disgrace. And dangerous.

I wish we had:

Theres not a movement per se. Just widespread condemnation. The bigger issue is the platform he is constantly provided by BBC and sky news and the like. That's the bigger issue. It's counter productive and obviously giving him the platform that he needs to air his venom. Freedom of speech is one thing but not when it incites hatred and widespread violence. The UK has reasonably strict defamation laws that were put in place to shut people exactly like anjem chaudry up. So honestly if the authorities wanted to arrest him they would Have done so by now. They have more than enough evidence to lock him up

Re: Question for the guppies in the UK

Most Muslims are absolutely horrified and shocked at how this guy is never touch by the authorities and given considerable air time whereas plenty of other Muslims get nabbed, they're put under strict surveillance, their houses gets raided multiple times, their movement is severely restricted, list, they lose their job, they're put on trial, they face imprisonment.

Muslims will put a movement together if British authourities can answer a simple question that despite having very strict anti terrorism laws, why this hate monger is never penalised? Many professionals can lose their jobs for using the word 'Paki' at workplace but somehow this guy goes scot free even he spews absolute hatred on BBC? Why is he and Altaf Hussain are so special?
