**Umer,

sometimes it also depends on what age group the person belongs to now..

People with firmer roots in the US today, those who've made it and adjusted to it, will always find it 'better' and find faults with Pakistan, it's government, it's people and culture.

You need to subdivide opinions based on the number of years somoene has lived in Pakistan and then abroad to factor in personal bias.

What you wrote is perfectly right, but the discrepancy I was writing about is among the young generation. Those who have not 'made it' yet.

Of course you can't generalize this, but for a large proportion of those people, who I know, the follwing statements are true:

Young people in Pakistan are trying their best to go abroad. Young Pakistanis abroad, especially those who grew up abroad, are missing the homeland and wish they could go back.

Umer, the Pakistani Brain of Austria

I’d much rather live in Pakistan, like proudpakistani007 said there’s too much discrimination here, gorays can never accept us…

…and despite the fact I was born and raised in england and only spent 2 years in Pakistan I don’t feel at home in the uk but in Pakistan I do, there’s a sense of belonging when I’m back home

it’s sometimes so depressing when I think about how far my homeland is…

hum kahaan say chalay aur kahaan aa gaey…I think to my self, I don’t belong here…

I’m a student right now but as soon as I have completed my education, I’ll be off back home…Insha-Allah…apna to Pakistan kay bina dil nahi lagta…
