Re: Question for men with regards to Jamaat.
Sorry, didn't bother reading thru all the replies - my dad went on a jammat trip with some malaysian guys when he was young. His story was very very very positive.
They didn't intrude on anyone or push anyone at all. Very polite people. He said that they gave some speeches in English and talked to people in the masjid along with whatever else they do. He said he felt really good about it afterwards. He said that they spent the night in some other city - and that they slept in the masjid on the floors and ate very little. Kinda like camping out. shrugs He really wanted to do it again, but he never had time.
I guess maybe when desis do it, they screw it up? Not surprising. Pakistanis tend to screw up everything.
