I would think that this would turn men on. 
I believe VF meant spanking, biting and slapping during sex. I guess most guys would do anything to please their women. So if it is mutually agreed upon, it would turn both ON. But there is a very fine line. Just make sure both partners are mature and understand each other's needs.
Personally, I don't find any pleasure in seeing a woman in pain, with or without sex. But if that's what she wants, then that's what she gets.

No it isnt a turn on to see women pain. I never saw the whole S & M thing as something that could even remotely be a turn on.

i feel there is nothing wrong with a bit of role playing to spice up ones sex life. A bit of variety in the conduct is essential.
