How did you manage nursing your baby while going to work/studying?

Did you take the pump with you?

If you missed a pumping session due to some reason (exam in class etc) were you still able to express milk???

After how many hours did you pump?

Which pump do you feel is the most useful–a greater quantity in less time and not being overly-painful.

I kept the pump at my office but used to bring back bottles and parts for washing. I was bf at home so did not need the pump back at home. I also had a hand pump at home in case if I got engorged and needed to pump.

I was working and it was not possible to get up every 2 hours so I used to pump twice at work. If for some reason I missed the time, (if I was in a meeting or doing something that needed to be delivered) I would still go ahead after meeting or whatever and tried to pump twice.
With bf, it is supply and demand, if there is less demand your body adapts and start producing less milk. So ofcourse eventually my supply was less and less but I still continued bf until my son was 18 months. I had to supplement with formula and once the kids get on solids, it is slightly easier.
