Love by itself is not the only factor for a succesful marriage.
Staying married is by itself does not imply there is love.
Marriage is about compatibilities.
Love does not imply compatiilty.
Where does all this lead to?
1) Chances of love forming after AM is quite high
2) Chances of marriage succeeding after a LM is high but <1
3) eM is just another AM
AM is led by the brain, herat follows.
LM is by the Heart but don't expect the brain to follow - it may though
All that aside remember - many many love affairs never become marriages. So any statistics about number of love marriages succeeding is false from teh start, if you are looking which is better
PS: there is a 4th possibility UM (Un Marriage) - but that is different
Is it true that after arranged marriage EVENTUALLY you fall in love with your husband/wife?
* I mean you know how they say "beta arranged marriage ke baad phir Allah khuddi mohabbat qayam kar deyta hai dono ke beech mein"
**How true is that?*
Try: not very. That statement sounds like a gross generalization. It's possible for two people residing in close quarters (regardless of the reason for it, marriage or otherwise) to grow closer to each other, or become more resentful and hostile towards each other, with each passing day: chemistry is funny that way.
Either way: any arranged marriage where neither party has killed or divorced the other is considered a successful one. Let's aim for that, shall we?

I am not sure if that is really a successful marriage. A successful marriage is when both partners have a healthy relationship...
