I was wondering if i should go for a trial makeup before the wedding day?..
Those who are already married, did u go for a trial makeup?
Those who are not, do u plan to go for one?

im not even near getting married...let alone engaged but anyway...
I would never let someone do makeup on my big day without a make up trial!
WHat if they do something horrible and all wrong.
The reason being, when i was in karachi two years ago....a relative of mine booked tariq amin for her engagement makeup without a trial just based on reviews.
he made her look hideous...kali and clowny and when we tried to intervene the artist was like...i am the makeup artist who are you to tell me blah blah.
we went home, my cousin was crying and she washed her face and all us girls did her makeup to save the day!

alvena I have also heard negative review about tariq amin. It was a bride who went to his parlour for bridal make up. It was his assistent who did her makeup and when she was ready she said that I want to talk to tariq amin. She said to him that she doesnt like the makeup and she never expected this type of makeup from his parlour , then he said that if you dont like it first go to the toilet and clean your face and than he said that this is our makeup if you dont like it you can go from here. Just imagine how the girl must have felt, no makeup and probably some hour left to her big day!

i don't think anyone gives trials - from what i've heard anyway.
tariq amin's work seems like it's mainly for fashion - catwalk and photoshoots, where the models need heavy and dramatic makeup.
wedding makeup seems like pretty risky business in pak.
