Is it true that dua on a person doesn’t work if that person drinks? i mean if you pray for a person who consumes alcohol (for example that he stops drinking or becomes good etc etc) it doesn’t work…this is different from the duas of an alcoholic not being answered though!
Consumption of haram is one of the reasons duas are not accepted. So if a person eats or drinks haram then his dua is not accepted. So if a person drinks alcohol, then his duas will not be accepted. It doesn't mean that the dua of someone making dua for him won't.
