But how r the top teams determined in middle of season ?
Like How many teams were selected from English Premier league ?

how many teams each league gets to enter is dependent on previous success. i think 4 is maximum, whereas other lesser leagues like scotland may only have 1 (or 2) teams eligible to enter. its not decided middle of season but from the finnishing positions of the previous season. so for example arsenal, newcastle, chelsea, spurs are all fighting for the 2 positions left (manu/manc are taking the 2 other available spots) for next seasons champions league. the fourth and last spot team will have to play a knock out qualifier game before it actually gets into champions league proper. this qualifying game is not usually a problem for a top four english team to get past.
if chelsea win the champions league this year they may get the fourth english spot even if they finnish outside the top four.
historically the champions league has evolved from the european cup, which was a title winning teams only competition (1 team per league)

So 4 teams from EPL join Champions league every year, but there is a qualifying round before actual champions league rite ? and Man U cudnt make past that qualifying round (6 matches 9 points)

yeah 4 teams from epl, only the fourth team has to play a knockout qualifying match. this match takes place before the champions league proper, its a bit of a non event. usually takes place before a season has even began

only from the group stages is it considered champions league proper because the big teams come in at this stage (they are spared qualifying rounds.) the fourth placed epl team only has to play 1 match play-off to get in. the first three go automatically to group stages.
teams knocked out prior to group stages would be seen as failed to qualify
where man utd got knocked out this season that is champions league proper, thats known as group stages.
