Question about the Lambi Kameez style?

Okay so I bought my first ever lambi kameez salwar kameez…its a really nice cheetah print lambi kameez made out of chiffon with capri’s. When I tried it on at the store, it felt kind of weird, because it was soo loose and since the sleeves are long and bell bottom and also loose, it felt like I was wearing a nightie to sleep.

I asked the lady if the kameez needed to be tightened from the sides, but she said it’s supposed to be really loose like that and that is the fashion?

Is that really how it’s supposed to look? the kurta is supposed to be really loose and baggy?

Re: Question about the Lambi Kameez style?

Pakieyez.. ur absolutely right .. thats exactly what I thought - I was shocked to hear that apparently its the “loose” fitting that is en vogue and the longer and wider the bottom of the kameez the 'cooler" it is!!..I have a few and I admit, like you, not used to the really long length and chiffony long and wide bell arms but they do look good with some high heels and ur make up done!:k:

Re: Question about the Lambi Kameez style?

felt the same when i wore it the first time, but its just because its so new to me, otherwise i have always worn normal length and fitting with a shalwar, but it looks really good..just takes time to get used to it !
