Question about PMs

Is there any way I can change my settings so that the PMs I send are automatically saved in my “Sent Items” folder without me having to check the box at the bottom every time?

This feature is available there. you just need to enable it

go to your profile settings
click on general settings under account settings
then in messaging and notification section-scroll down to private messaging
its the very last one which says "Sent Private Messages:" change it to "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default".

Here is another way

Click on Settings hyper link (provided on right top side after log out) i have highlighted wid red color

Then General Setting under My Setting heading Private Messaging

and last step to chose radio button option provided under

Restored attachments:
