question about nikkah

How long is a nikkah valid if the other person is not from the same place..
i.e a nikkah that happened online the person is in pakistan, the nikah was done a year ago..
anyone know??

there is no limit to nikah .. its just as they say ... till death do u apart .. or divorce ..

but the nikah has to be lagitimate first itself to be called a nikah ..
