I have a NICOP card, got it last year, as did my brothers and sisters, but none of us have pakistani nationality and we were all born in the UK, so u dnt have to be a pakistani national to get the NICOP card
That's true, but you must be able to provide your parent's National ID card number or CNIC number as a proof that they were once a Pakistani Citizen. My wife can't do it because my inlaws became Canadian back in the early 70s and at that time they never got NIC... I can apply for my son's NICOP even though he was born in canada but he can get it based on my Pakistani nationality.
Did you have to provided them with your parent's NIC?
