Pretty high profile case. Recently there was a case where a sikh man was forced into a marriage back home and he killed his wife after she came to the uk. Just dont get it. If youre gay just be gay dont ruin someones life.

a gay desi guy that comes from a really strict religious, traditional family would never come out for fear of the shame it would bring onto his family back home. This type of guy would deny it to himself and let all his frustrations on the straight woman he marries selfishly in the form of emotional abuse or whatever abuse and most likely could never have intercourse with her.
Come on in South Asia, homosexuality is still not accepted and they are still called insults like “faggot” in the most hateful way. Why would they come out?

Mhmm, i get where you’re coming from and reading the rest of your comments, even if he has told her he’s over his past “ways”, i would never believe him. She should try and understand that their’s no lack of guys in this world. Inshallah, she’ll find a good one. There is no need to compromise and settle with someone with such a disturbing past. Guys sleeping around with girls is one thing (it’s still wrong) but sleeping around with guys.. nuh uh. What he does in the privacy of his house is his problem and I won’t bother with it, but messing with an innocent persons life and dragging them into your drama filled life is just messed up.

No. Desi parents do not give a rat’s ass what their kid’s preferences are. He could be being forced by his parents or easily been brainwashed to believe he has to go through marriage no matter how uninterested he is to fit in. The dude’s going to crack one day and she’s going to have pick up the pieces.
