I wanna know that if I’m reciting the Quran as in doing a khatam for myself and on para 2 for example and then I go to someone else s khatam and recite para 3 then am I done with para 3 for both khatams or just the one?
I’ve been thinking about this for a very long time and from tomorrow I’m starting a khatam for myself and I wanna be part of the GS Khatam-E-Quran in December aswell so I was wondering how it will work.

No ... It has been read once not twice ... simple ... it applies for one only. Rather it should appply only for khatam because it was read for that intention.

The khatams that we do today, as in everyone reading a para/juz so that collectively they finish the Quran don't have any basis as such as far as I know. Whenever I go to khatam of Quran, I always try to continue it as part of my regular tilawat, and when I read the next time, I continue where I had left of from.
