Just to make sure I understand it right: Stunned meat is when they say Allah's name and electrocute the animal? If the blood is not drained, it should be unhalal, as per the condition/reason of cutting the neck, which drains the blood out.

here how it is:
Stunned: Animal is electrocuted and dies and is slaughtered without full blood draining.
Stunned Halal: The amount of electrocution given is enough to knock the animal but not kill it. If it was not slaughtered than it would come round in approximately 15 minutes. It is than machine slaughtered with Bismillah tape running in the background in most instances.
unstunned Halal: The animal is not stunned and is hand slaughtered while reciting kalima

I also remember that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said that when in doubt, simply read Bismillah over it and it'll be acceptable. That's what I go by.

Here's what I heard on the Friday's khutba, therefore I have no source online.
A sahabi came to Prophet (PBUH) and said that there's a man (butcher) that sells meat and claims that it's halal. However, since he's a newly convert, we are not sure if it's always halal or it may be sometimes non-halal. The prophet PBUH said that if he says it's halal, simply read Bismillah over it and eat it.
From this, I understand that if someone claims that the meat he's selling is halal, then we should take their word for it. If we are in doubt, we should read bismillah and eat it.
I don't think this Hadith covers MCD and KFC meat. However, there are some people that would eat that meat as well by reading Bismillah over it. Whehter those people are right or wrong, Allah knows.
