question about cookies

How long can chocolate chip cookies last before going bad?

Re: question about cookies

I remember I had an oatmeal chocolate cookie which I kept for 2 days.It was rock hard but I still ate it.Tasted fine to me.

Re: question about cookies

hmm, I am thinking of fedexing some to a place. I wonder if they will last that long. I needed ladies' opinion on this one and I got it. But more help will be appreciated.

until ants don't attack.

Re: question about cookies

If they're in the fridge (who the hell puts cookies in the fridge?) they can last for really long. Chips Ahoy has the expiration date on them. Nestle Tollhouse homemade isn't worth eating unless they're fresh.

Re: question about cookies

Buy an airtight container (easily available at Wal-Mart and such) wrap the cookies in foil, place them in the container and than mail the container in one of those cardboard FedEx or US mail boxes. The airtight container keeps the cookies for a good while.

If you want to make it fancy than decorate the outside of the airtight container with a bow or ribbon.

Re: question about cookies

Chloe, keep in mind, Maddy will eat anything, anyways. :]

Re: question about cookies

oo belle, thanks for the reply, That was exactly what I needed to know. I had thought of the container but thanks for suggesting the foil. Thanks a lot.

Phatima: Maddy wishes I baked cookies and sent em to him. btw, you are such a brat! :D

Re: question about cookies

hahah

Bratima1, that’s how I do. :smooth:

Re: question about cookies

I would recommend the Ziplock bag or something instead of the foil...

Also hard cookies can be soften if placed in airtight container with a piece of bread for a few hrs.

Re: question about cookies

Keeping the cookies in the airtight container is the best idea for keeping cookies fresh.

But here in UAE if you leave the cookies out for an hour or so, they get softened. :(
So as soon as you're finished with eating cookies, put them in the container.

Re: question about cookies

^lol prolly cuz of the humidity. Same happened to my cookies in KSA :(
