I was searching online for a duah, and came across this:
Oh Allah, Remove the Hardship, Oh Lord of Mankind, Grant cure, for You are the Healer, There is not Cure but from You, cure which leaves no illness behind
**(recite while patting the sick person)
**So my question is, do I have to physically “pat” the sick person? What if I’m reading the duah for someone who is far away?
