The difference is Michelle Obama does not take any political decisions - she has no say over the running of the Democratic Party.
Reham Khan is obviously involved in running Pti.
Remember this is the party that claims all it's party officials are 'elected' - but as we are learning Pti is the same hypocritical and corrupt party as the others.

Btw, are we following the Jeffersonian model or shouldn't we be following IK's favorite Westminster model? I remember back in zardari's time how Imran came out against judicial hearings for SC judges (a US thing) as he said that Pakistan is running on a british model.

I was right being a skeptic on never contributing to PTI. He blundered his way through penti puncture and then didn't apologize over the gaffe as Asad Umar & Arif Alvi aka real PTI wanted to do. Reham is inserting herself everywhere after they did all the drama after marriage of her being 'impartial'. This woman is way too ambitious and I see another Jemima in the making if Imran doesn't become prime minister in the next 5 years.

As you may have noticed, all the hoopla about Reham's 'entry' into politics is mainly innuendo floated by media....and not based on anything tangible. A speech in her hometown constituency election doesnt make her a politician.
There was no tangible change in her online credentials. She merely changed the name of the college to reflect the parent institute, as a lot of people were harping on about how the institute previously mentioned did not even offer journalism diplomas.
In any case, that has nothing to do with her degree. Its mere propaganda, and since it is linked to Imran Khan, it sells.
Another thing media is effectively doing is associating and linking all her work for street children with politics as well...similar to what they did initially with Imran Khan and SKMT. Its cheap publicity for the media, and bonus points for PTI's opponents.

I dont think anyone died and appointed her chairperson of the party....nor do i remember her heading any loan scheme. So far she has just been a supporter for her husband, and campaigner for his party. The day she comes into a party post by virtue of her marriage to IK, this issue can be discussed. Until then, its just hogwash.

While it might be wrong for Reham to do what she is doing, it is very very very rich coming from supporters of a party which is dynastic and where leaders are chosen by "will". Remember people living in glass houses.....

If her political activities remain to the extent of her current involvement, I don't find it objectionable. But she does seem to be too ambitious, I hope she will not become a Zardari for PTI.

and who are we to determine what her political ambitions should be? as a Pakistani citizen, she is free to practice any level of political activity. waisay she seems far more level headed than imran khan. Imran shd sit home and do allah allah and manage hospitals and schools. politics is not imran's specialization.

agreed. plus as a Pakistani citizen, she is free to practice any level of political activity. no one can stop her. if she has not done it, she should formally apply for PTI membership then as PTI member she has every right to be involved with pti politics.
the only issue is that did she marry imran only for her political ambitions? but we will never find answer for it as only allah or reham knows about it.

The only value PTI seemed was that it doesnt is what other old status-que parties are! The reason for its success was that it filled vacuum left by practices of other political parties otherwise there isd absolutely no difference between it and other parties but now it has constantly strike similarities and try to prove its deeds by giving examples of other parties which is disastrous.. Reham's actions is just one great example of it..

I hope PTI loses NA-19 and it loses by big margin. That's the only she'll get the message, and strengthen the opposition of many PTI supporters who do not want her to see her in politics.
It is not about her street child campaign, in what capacity she's passing all those aggressive remarks on MQM, PMLN, PPP? Why is she talking like a political opponent? Don't even get me started me on beyond pathetic and cheap Haripur speech. PTI did not like when Maryam Nawaz did all that opposition to Imran, so let's not try to make excuses for Reham Khan.
