Depends on your bodyshape. I’m rectangular so I got for either straigh kameezes, or slightly A-Line, more flattering on me

I think you are asking how much you need to add to body measurements for a loose fitting?
The minimum is usually 2 inches. If you want a comfortable fitting, then 3-4 inches extra. For example, if your chest is 34" measured, then you want the kameez to be about 36-37" if you don’t want it to be tight.
