Quaterbacks

This thread is for NFL fans.

So far this year we have seen some great performances from numerous quaterbacks and for the past couple years.

Who do you guys think is the best quarterback out of the current players, their current form shouldn’t be an issue here.

Add on if you like.

Brett Farve
Kurt Warner
Tommy Maddox
Micheal Vic
Drew Breese
Donovan McNabb
Steve McNair
Rich Gannon
Peyton Manning
Drew Bledsoe
Tom Brady
Jeff Garcia
Mark Bulger
Corey Deitmer

I’m preety sure I have missed couple.

If its just about quarterbacking skills then the following also deserve a mention:
Todd Collins - KAN
Koy Detmer - PHI
Kelly Holcomb - CLE
Kerry Collins - NYG
Duante Culpepper - MIN

But ofcourse its been a pleasure to watch Rich Gannon of the Raider Nation, who leads NFL in passing yards with 4205.
att/pass: 546/376 %: 68.9 23 TDs and a rating of 98.7 (highest in NFL).
My vote goes to him.

I'd got with Bret Favre. The guy's got more consectuive appearence's in the game than any other quarterback. Hell even if he didnt Id still go with Favre. (I guess its just a Wisconsin thing).

Rich Gannon
This guy is old… but the way he is playing… he is gonna shatter Marino’s most passing yard record…
He is leading the team… most of the games… he walks off the field with a clean jersey… :k:

I also like Vick… that guy got the legs of a runner… and a cannon in his arm… he is good… if he doesnt get a serious injury… next couple of years… he is gonna be the big hype
but he needs to learn to slide… he cant keep taking hits from the defense… he gotta slide…

MVP… GANNON

Count me in for the i-like-gannon club (by that i didn't mean it in a gay sense).
He rarely threw any interceptions this season (with rarely underlined):D

the second good QB wud b marc bulger. he's more like my second fav this season than good. His wicked skills led rams to some vicroris (eventhough he only played like 4 games and was a 2 backup QB)

not to sure about the facts above cuz i didn't have time to double check it on nfl.com like many ppl here. :D

nobody checked the stats... :p

Well if you wanna look at the QB Raiting as a whole, Rich Gannon is ranked 7th overall and Chad Pennington is ranked 6th where as Todd Collins, whom i mentioned above is ranked #1 with a rating of 156.9

I was referring to Rich Gannons passing yards stats, where he leads NFL. Here:

PS: I'm Kool, and whats wrong with checking stats? Are you not able to check the stats?

as a whole... the first 5 guys... except bulger havent played many games...
but who cares... as long as Gannon is on top and the Raiders are winning

Definately at this moment, Gannon is ahead of the other guys but what about all time, I don't think any active quaterback can ever pass Brett Favre's greatness.

Here are my top quaterbacks of all time.

Montana
Marino
Elway
Favre
Warner
Aikman

Here are mine all-time best QBs and in that order :

  1. Montana
  2. Elway
  3. Aikman

The rest u mentioned are not quite yet at the same calibre as these three, IMHO. I would definitely put them below Troy Aikman :)
