No batsman in my opinion ever dominated fast bowlers or was as destructive as Viv in his prime. Conditions are much more batting friendly since the 90s, better bats & protective gear, restriction on the number of bouncers, neutral umpires, decline in the quality of fast bowling the world over, batting friendly pitches. Plus Viv had an aura and presence at the crease that no batsman has been able to match since then
