That must be the cricket joke of the century. Imran was even loved more than Botham in latter’s own country, let alone the world wide fan following Imran has. Imran’s charsmatic bowling, batting and above all captaincy had won so many tournaments for Pakistan including the World Cup. Where Pomies’ arses were kicked by the cornered tigers, including magnificant batting and bowling in the final by Imran himself. That was the final stamp on Imran’s supremecy over Botham during their 20 year rivalry.

Botham was a great allrounder but he had not made any difference in England’s overall status in World cricket, where as Imran’s impressions will remain fresh in the memories of all cricket followers across the globe. I was really amazed by knowing that Gayenese and Trinidadians here love Imran more than their own legends.
