The victorious are the only one who will are able to treat the woman with the utmost respect as outlined in the Quran and sunnah. So please, reflect on the main subject, if you wish you can discuss this women issues in another thread.

your last point does clarify your point of view, jazakAllah khair..though i disagree with it.
not least because the Prophet (saw) did not put it as a specific condition.. but it is part of the general condition
the qualities mentioned are
1 Allah (swt) loves them
2 They love Allah (swt)
3 They are humble towards the believers
4 They are stern/harsh/terrorising towads the disbelievers
5 They fight fee sabilillah
Thus it is part of the general condition no.3 but not a specific condition. Many muslims will say they fulfill condition 2 but their actions are different (nevertheless they will claim with their tongue)...Same with the condition no. 3 and 4. Anyone can lay the claim to this, but condition number 5, it is clear who fulfills it and who does not.
Unfortunately, the past of indo-continent is unique somewhat. (But not totally, but it is moreso than other areas). In this area, many people will claim to fight fee sabillah but they fought for nationalism and power. But this is mainly in the past and people accuse the mujahideen of today with the crimes of the criminals of the past, even though majority of these criminals have got what they sought (power) and are fighting the mujahideen today.
I don't believe their accusations to be true of mujahideen of today such as disrespecting the women etc. Yes, the media will always try to paint a dismall picture, e.g. closure of schools in NWFP etc but taliban allowed the girls to study and be doctors. The government has that right to make such a decision. Imagine how advanced Pakistan will be if Pakistan made such a decision. And apart from this i could give many excuses for closure of girls shools in tribal areas of NWFP but i would prefer to wait until I have more information as Taliban themselves did not close schools but restrict the cirriculum which in my opinion is right to do so. And if they did disrespect women then I would disagree with them but I would not believe the media and its lies when I have seen the videos (many which would be banned on gupshup) of women admitting the crimes of the enemies of mujahideen and yet CNN, Geo etc, has yet to produce a single woman testifying to crimes of the mujahideen (i am sure they will eventually pay a girl to do so but I am often astounded that they have access to money and resources and yet their media propoganda work is dismall, alhamdulillah).
Apart from that, getting back to the topic.
Many people dpending on their on ideas put their own specific conditions such as
- educated to high level
- good manners
I disagree with most of these specific conditions but if anyone has opinion, I would like to hear it (and maybe I would like to refute not as a game of debate, but as advice). It is as if we are not happy with the words of Prophet (saw) and the words of Prophet (saw) are incomplete and we have to finish his best advice and add to information that only he knows, naaoudobillah

Umar is right, these are general conditions in which all the specific ones you mentioned fall under. The media will lie because they have their agenda to please the elite, and we all know the elite are always against Islam because Islam is the only ideology which puts an end to the oppression, aggression, lies, deception and evil.
Firstly your are not discussing anything relevant to the discussion.. your are trying to bring about a new discussion .. (its called hijacking a thread, but funnily enough the board moderators will only take action against an unislamic thread being hijacked by "extremist", i have yet to see a board moderator take action on vice versa)...

What is your problem with a closure of school it is not a human right... Human right is food, shelter and clothing as defined in shariah. Everything else is a plus.
And what is worse is that you put it forward as an accusation as we mullahs going around closing schools. Remember the thrid condition that they are humble towards the believers and part of that is no accusation without proof.
Remember the orphans that were taught in jamia hafsa? Who closed their school down? Who killed those children??? I know people will be accusing the imaam of lal masjid but where is shred of evidence??? At most all i have heard of evidence "it could have been so and so just think"... like "oh the kids were brainwashed"... who proved it. was a single kid denouncing what they did after they events of lal masjid. Surely if there was truth in this claim at least one kid (who could have been paid...again the lack of though in ant-islamic propoganda is astounding)... at least one kid could have been interviewed after the incident, sayin "yes we were brainwashed"...
But what did the free media report and I am not talking about GEO or any pakistani news network because they don't know the meaning of unbiased reporting.. all they know is sensationalism wins viewers...the idea of which is just sickening... I am referring to foreign muslim media which had no gain in reporting bad or good about lal masjid.
A swedish journalist wrote an article, the girls used to make fun of gheerah of Imam Abdul Rashid Ghazi and they use to entertain themselves with spoof comedy plays on famour characters in pakistan (political and otherwise).. and In the school they use to learn apart from islamic knowledge, sewing, craft and other life skills. The madrassa related to lal masjid was the first and probably the only madrassa in pakistan to have access to computer technology for purposes of teaching.
Yet you still want to put your own agenda and imply that all these "islamic" minded people are going around closing when the modernist and secularist destroyed the best school in Islamabad and you sat and did not utter a single word of shock. And one school is closed in a place far away and accusations fly like as a crime against humanity has been committed. What about the school that was kept open in falluja so that girls can be raped and burned by US Soldier. No I don't think a school should be open in a place of war, if parents cannot do their duty of protecting their children they should not be passing on the buck to garage called "school" in a place where there is war but that is my personal opinion.

Oh sorry, I don't think you know about these, since they were not reported as they should have been on BBC or CNN. They were too busy covering a more "sensational" news of a closure of a girls school in NWFP.
