Quaid-e-Azam's immediate family: 'shame on us'

Immediate family of The Father of the Nation

Dina Wadia (Daughter and only child of Muhammad Ali Jinnah)

She (born in 1919) is still alive, aged 91…amazing

Nusli Wadia (Grandson or niwasa of Jinnah)

Ness Wadia (Great grandson of Jinnah)

When some of us can worship chor, corrupt, incompetent and power-hungry politicians like the Bhuttos, Sharifs, Zardaris, Chaudharies, Altaf etc. why has no government ever honoured or atleast invited these people over to Pakistan. Pakistan belongs to them as much as us. I am sure many Pakistanis like myself would love to hear their esp. Dina’s views about her great father and on the current pathetic state of Pakistan

Some of you might say that Jinnah himself disowned his daughter because she married a parsi, engishman Neville.

Musalman nahin huey tau kya hua, insan tau hein na yeh log…

These people, being the direct descendants of Jinnah, are more respect worthy IMO than any of the so-called leaders (that followed Jinnah and Liaquat) who have raped our nation over the past 60 odd years

Re: Quaid-e-Azam’s immediate family: ‘shame on us’

And while Jinnah’s immediate family is mega-rich, textile magnates and what not, Aslam Jinnah who is allegedly the grandson of one of Jinnah’s sisters (do not know which one though) is living in abject poverty in Karachi. He also suffers from cancer. Why has no government ever addressed the plight of these people and helped them?

Re: Quaid-e-Azam's immediate family: 'shame on us'

Dear Swing,

do you consider this Pakistan as Jinnah ka Pakistan? This country has been looted by Generals and Politicians and its not stopped yet!!!

Allah Rahem karey is mulk per or is ke baasion per..

Re: Quaid-e-Azam's immediate family: 'shame on us'

I beg to differ, but I am from those who don't like family dynasties in politics. If anyone "deserves" anything from state it should be "earned" and not granted because of family member did something for the country unless the immediate family member was the only bread earner and got KIA.

I can't listen to the interview, but if they want to visit to Pakistan anytime they should be welcomed but I doubt killers of Fatima would be too happy.

Re: Quaid-e-Azam's immediate family: 'shame on us'

I am sure they themselves w'd not want to get involved in the dirty politics of Pakistan.

And who is talking about politics here? But why could we not invite them or have them as guests on a live programme etc.

Re: Quaid-e-Azam's immediate family: 'shame on us'

I'd be interested see the children only, not grand but only daughter and she is now in 90s, she probably can throw some light on events of pre-partition if she remembers any that is.

Re: Quaid-e-Azam's immediate family: 'shame on us'

But that is the whole point. Why was Dina not invited by any government in the past?

Re: Quaid-e-Azam's immediate family: 'shame on us'

me too :)

Re: Quaid-e-Azam's immediate family: 'shame on us'

I thought Quaid-e-Azam has only one Daughter, Dina Wadia, from where this SON came out??? and that is begging???

Re: Quaid-e-Azam’s immediate family: ‘shame on us’

Where did I say he is the grandson? :smack:

read carefully… he is not Quaid’s grandson but allegedly the grandson of one of his sisters

Re: Quaid-e-Azam’s immediate family: ‘shame on us’

in that case, why would be GoP or any govt would be helping a remote relative of Quaid? he is either son of Shireen or Maryam…

Re: Quaid-e-Azam's immediate family: 'shame on us'

^ Agreed, we should not help them...
