Quaid-e-Azam v today's overpampered & VVIP-worshipping civilian and military elite

Watch this Kal Tak Programme which should be an eye-opener for all of us

Javed Qureishi narrates very nicely what our great founder stood for - Pride and Dignity, Responsibility, Hard Work, Honesty and Integrity

Before the start of one of his cabinet meetings, Quaid’s ADC asked him, “Sir chai ya coffee serve kee jaye?”

Quaid replied sternly,* “kya wuzra (ministers) ghar se chai ya coffee pee kar nahin aatey?..qoum ka paisa qoum k liye hai, wazeeron k liye nahin.”*

The bulk of the discussion however is about the imminent threat of a war b/w India and Pakistan. I just hope sanity prevails in the end and rather than indulging in a blame game, both countries work jointly to minimise (you can never eradicate it) extremism within our respective societies

Re: Quaid-e-Azam v today's overpampered & VVIP-worshipping civilian and military elit

affluence takes the better of people, when they do not protect their personal integrity against, selfishness and narcissism.

corruption eats away at the hearts of those in power positions, and thus the whole present and future of those affected by such people, suffer.

Yes sadly all those great values which symbolised Jinnah have been lost on our leaders and people alike. We as a society are extremely corrupt....*jiss ka jahan dao lagta hai istemaal karta hai....*And Jinnah was firecely against corruption and dishonesty.

The corrupt, illiterate and nalaiq awam keep electing the same corrupt, dishonest, selfish and good for nothing politicians

Some serious introspection is needed

Asif bhai, Quaide Azam worked only for 1Rs per month? I am sure you know about the compensation package demanded by ghoray/lotays in 90s, forget 2008.

[note] You already made a thread about this! [/note]
