Quaid-e-Azam day celebrate or not?

I can understand we celebrate 14 August, and we celebrate 23rd March for our country, but for Qaid’s birthday we celebrate independence or we celebrate his birthday? I know because of Qaid-e-Azam we have a free country and we celebrate in his honor. But I was thinking does India have Ghandi day or Nehru day or US has George Washington day?

PS. Don’t kill me it’s just a thread, not my real views .

in India, we celebrate Gandhi Jayanti [Birthday of Mahatma Gandhi] on October 2 and it’s a national holiday…

…i think Pakistan must also have a national day on Quid’s birthday.

People celebrate Qaid-e-Azam day every year on 25 December.

Yeah they do, but I don’t see any logic in it. :cb: You can make a museum, you can dedicate a whole country to their name but what’s so special about birthdays.:cb:

kids instantly know about the leader if they get a day off…to chhuTTii hone se unko pataa chaltaa hai k aaj Quid-e-Azam kaa birthday hai…lol

…i notice that you changed the spelling of “Qaa’id-e-Azam” :slight_smile:

I dont understand the point of this thread.

Are you asking if Quaid’s Birthday should be observed or not? Observed where? In Pakistan or US? You know its already a public holiday in Pakistan.

In US, Washington’s and Lincoln’s Birthdays are observed and like someone pointed out most nations observe their founding father’s birthdays :stuck_out_tongue:
