If Raina (my fav person great attitude) is given out lbw the whole course changes. When Ball is so so so close to leg stump line the ump shoukd base decision on if it is hitting stumps. Poor call gould. India maybe reaches 250. Anyone's game
The no ball call by Dhar was a joke. Rohit would have been out.
So yes. Two big game turning decisions went against Bangla.

Rohit Sharma deserved the MoM award for a mature and controlled innings; he paced his innings beautifully. But once again it was Raina who injected life into the indian innings just like he did against Pakistan. India appeared to be in a spot of bother at one stage with RR just over 4 and 3 wickets down. Another wicket there and India might have struggled to post 270+

Nohit at one stage was 60 off 80. The Raina Non LBW CHANGED the game. He was at 12. Ditto the no ball call when Rohit at 90.
Dhoni doesn't appear.to be capable 9f impact full innings. India is soft starting at 6.

The lbw call looked sincere to me. The umpire probably thought it will miss the stumps. It was turned down coz it was not pitched inline. Regardless, that call would have stood. I mean, if umpire gave lbw, and India appealed, the call would have been reversed.
The no ball on the other hand, I don't know what that was. Maybe the wasp bite distracted Dar or induced hallucinations or maybe he looked at the way Rohit reacted ( as if the ball was gonna hit his family jewels ) and called it a no ball.
Regardless, don't think the result of the game would have changed. Might have been a closer game.

Against South Africa, Pakistan and now Bang the three big pressure games India has batted first in all of them. By amassing big totals it helps the bowling in skittling the opposition out. I would like to see how their bowling does when India chases against a top team or when their batting fails and they have to defend 200. Easy to bowl well when your batting is making three hundred plus batting first in every game.

I was watching highlights and they didnt show the replay. It looked out to me. It was pitched in line and swinging back and you could see his leg stump from behind. looked plumb to me

The graphic that goes with the review said it was pitched outside leg, meaning not inline. The tv umpire did not even bother to look at the other two factors, impact and stumps after that. I personally think he is out by definition should have been given out. But if you go by the review, he will be, and was, ruled not out.
